I was going back through some past work, reminiscing on some amazing weddings and wonderful clients I've worked with over the years. I frequently do this in the winter, as I look backward, then to the future with goals and new ideas to help my business grow. I was reminded recently of this past wedding, when I heard they were expecting their first little one. Somehow, it missed the blog then, which I am happily rectifying now! Allison and Ben got married on a very chilly autumn day at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan. What a beautiful property! The grounds consist of gorgeous trees, reflecting ponds and rolling terrain. The ceremony was held under a massive tree, which provided the perfect backdrop for Allison and Ben to make their promises. I've captured several events for Allison's family... they are a super tight-knit group of people, all so warm and lovely. I always feel like part of the family.

The weather on their wedding day was unseasonably chilly, but that didn't bother Allison or Ben. There was laughter when the candles wouldn't light because of the breeze, there were tears as they exchanged vows and sighs of joy as they walked back through the crowd as Mr. and Mrs. It had a little of everything wonderful.

The reception on the enclosed patio was a seamless joining of two families who were more than pleased to all now be connected. Stories were shared and new friends were made... all because of Allison and Ben. The night closed with the most amazing sunset that I've ever seen and sparklers, which is always the perfect finale.
