Summer wedding at St. Martha Parish and MSU's Henry Center- Part 2

Molly and Cody planned a gorgeous Lansing area wedding at St. Martha Parish in Okemos, followed with the party to end all parties at Michigan State's Henry Center in East Lansing.  The first part of their day, along with favorite images, is detailed here.  So much classic wedding goodness there, as well as a healthy does of Sparty.  Not to be missed!

The Henry Center was a perfect pick for Cody and Molly's big celebration.  Not only does it offer a breathtaking view of the grassy hills of Forest Akers Golf Course, but it's so conveniently located.  Located on the southern end of campus, it's situated far enough from downtown East Lansing to feel quieter and more serene, while still being so easy to access off the highway.  Dining there is always a treat and their staff make all the guests feel welcome and comfortable.  Definitely high on the list of East Lansing wedding venues!

Cody and Molly wanted golden-hour photos on the course, so we wandered around the ponds and through the trees for a little while.  Of course, I'm always a third-wheel in these situations, but stealing away at golden hour is highly recommended from an observers point of view.  Seeing my couples enjoy a tiny slice of personal quiet time together is one of my favorite parts of the day.  They snuggle a bit tighter, smile a bit bigger and laugh a bit harder when it's just the two of them.  Capturing it from a distance cherry on top... and my hope is when they look back at those images, they remember how special those stolen moments were.
